Farewell to Peter Field

After 25+ years of service (and stories!), we’re saying a big SeaKing farewell to Peter Field as he heads into retirement.

‘Peter’s been with us since the very beginning, and even before that, many of us worked alongside him across different companies, countries, and countless projects. In fact, trying to list all the jobs Peter’s had a hand in would be near impossible… but let’s just say a very large chunk of our 18,000+ projects have his name on them somewhere.

He’s known for being dedicated, reliable, and sharp as they come, and yes, even the blue side of the business agrees. From 4 a.m. ammonia plant installations in Ireland to massive ship refits closer to home, Peter’s energy, professionalism and good humour never failed.
We’ve all learned something from him, and we’ll miss having him around, as a colleague, a mentor, and a mate. The good news? We’ve got Peter Field Mk2 already on the team (no pressure!).
