National Apprenticeship Week 2026

This week we’re proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week and recognise the apprentices across SeaKing who are learning, developing and contributing to the business every day.

At SeaKing Group, we believe investing in apprentices is an investment in our future.
We currently have 12 apprentices, all at different stages of their training, supported through Hugh Baird College (Liverpool) and TTE Technical College (Ellesmere Port).

When the apprentices are not in college, they’re gaining hands-on experience on a wide range of projects, including work on vessels, MoD platforms, commercial ferries, and the new Mersey Ferry currently under construction at Cammell Laird. APCL Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited
