SeaKing are delighted to be delivering the full electrical package for the MV Royal Daffodil, the first new ferry for the River Mersey in over 60 years.

Built by APCL Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited at Birkenhead for Mersey Ferries. This £26 million vessel is set to enter service in 2026 with a diesel-electric hybrid-ready system and advanced Azipod propulsion.

At SeaKing, our scope includes the full electrical package, main switchboards, system design, installation of mechanical and electrical services and integration within the steel structure.
